Learning the Irish Language in P5-P7

This year at Ballylifford PS, we have introduced Irish language lessons to our P5-P7 pupils. The enthusiasm and willingness shown by the pupils is fantastic and they are extremely lucky to have P1-P2 teacher Mrs Sweeney who is a fluent Irish speaker, leading the weekly lessons. 

This is an excellent opportunity for the pupils to learn their native language through many themes and also gain a better understanding of their culture.
