BALLYLIFFORD WORLD BOOK DAY
This year World Book Day is on Thursday 2nd March to celebrate reading books, authors and illustrators. It is held in more than 100 countries around the world and we will be celebrating this great event on Thursday 2nd March, by inviting all the children to celebrate this very special day by coming to school dressed as a favourite book character, author or bring their favourite book to school.
We would like to reassure all parents not to put yourselves under any pressure or stress in making sure your child/children comes in the costume of their favourite character as the pupils can also bring their favourite book to school on the day.
We will have book-related activities throughout the day, which all children will partake in and enjoy.
