We are so proud of our Ballylifford boys today representing our school in the South Derry Football championship at Ballinderry GAA. The boys played exceptionally well in all their group games, winning 3 out of 5 games. We met St. Malachy’s PS, Drumullan in the semi-final and the boys dug deep, showed amazing resilience and were delighted to win by 2 points on the final whistle. In the final we met Spires PS and this was another fantastic display of football by all our boys. Unfortunately we finished Runners Up in the final but the boys showed excellent character and teamwork - we are ‘knocking on the door’ boys and I know the future is bright for you all. Hold your heads high this evening - runners up in the championship Division 3 final is a brilliant achievement!
