Today our P.7s performed their farewell assembly for their parents, P.1 to P.6 pupils and all staff. The parents were treated to homemade scones and tray bakes by Brigid Ann and Orla. P.7 children enjoyed a slideshow of photos from their P.7 year, a play about moving on to ‘big school’, P.7 memories and messages from all the staff/pupils with a few guest appearances. The boys and girls also sang the song Lean on me and ‘Someone you taught’ to the tune of Lewis Capaldi ‘Someone you loved’. There were lots of smiles and a few tears. The P.7 boys and girls then ended with a poem ‘Thank you Ballylifford’. A fantastic morning was had by all - the P.7s were delighted to be presented with their Ballylifford jumpers and a Survival kit for moving on to secondary school. What a great bunch of children who will be missed dearly by everyone at Ballylifford PS.
