Today Bronagh from ‘Keep Northern Ireland Tidy’ visited our P.5/6/7 class to deliver ‘Fast Fashion’ workshop. Bronagh talked to the children about how we should be encouraged to recycle our clothes or pass on to younger siblings/cousins. We found out about the top global retailers and exporters as well as how young people are being exploited to make clothes very cheap under extremely poor working conditions. This links in with our work this year to reduce WASTE as part of our efforts to renew our Eco flag. Thank you Bronagh for a very interesting and informative workshop.
