Today we felt extremely privileged to welcome a number of very special visitors to Ballylifford PS.
First Gareth McKinless (current Derry Senior player) and Enda Muldoon (Derry Coach/Selector) visited with the Anglo Celt cup. All children were dressed in their Red and White and took the opportunity to ask Gareth and Enda some fantastic questions. Children were delighted to receive photographs with Gareth and Enda in their class groups. Everyone at Ballylifford PS would like to take this opportunity to wish Gareth, Enda and the Derry Senior football team every success in the All-Ireland Semi-Final against Galway on the 9th July.
Next up it was the girls turn - we were delighted to welcome all the girls from the U15 All-Ireland Feile Champions Camogie Panel alongside their Management team Blaithin Doonan, Sinead Crozier and Martina Devlin. Brigid Ann and Orla had promised the 4 Ballylifford past pupils to chicken curry if they won the Feile and of course she didn’t let them down 😠All girls and management were treated to dinner in Ballylifford.
