A huge congratulations to our P.4 children today who celebrated the Sacrament of Penance and Sacrament of the Eucharist. The boys and girls were an absolute credit and we are very proud of them. They participated fully in the ceremony with their excellent readings, prayers, communion reflection and wonderful singing.
Thank you to the P.4 Parents for their help and support and turning the children out so beautifully today. The girls looked stunning in their white dresses and the boys were very dapper in their trendy suits 😊.
Thank you to Fr Donnelly for the beautiful ceremony and for making the children feel so relaxed as they participated in the mass.
A big thank you to all the staff in Ballylifford for leading the children in their faith journey to date - a special word of thanks to Ms Hurl, Caroline, Wendy and Orla for the care and attention they give our P.4 children on a daily basis and for preparing the children so well for today.
Thank you to John Wilson and the altar society for having the church looking so beautiful. The floral arrangements were amazing, in particular, the individual hearts at the front of the chapel with the names of all P.4 children in our parish - a very special touch!
Thank you to John O’Neill for taking our photographs today so that the children will have memories of this special occasion. We were blessed with fantastic weather and so the photographs were able to be taken outside in the beautiful chapel grounds.
