We were delighted to be part of the Aaron Devlin Memorial tournament today - a very enjoyable day for all boys and girls involved despite the rain. Both our teams played excellent football in their group stages and we couldn't be more proud of them.
After a series of very tough group games, the boys were defeated by a point in extra time of their semi final against St. Mary's PS, Carland in the shield. Well done, boys!
The girls met Derrychrin PS in the quarter final of the Cup and although we didn't win, it was lovely to see all the girls from both schools in a little huddle after the final whistle - girls you were fantastic.
Thank you to Derrychrin PS and everyone at Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC for organising today - always one of the highlights of the school year.
Many thanks to Brigid Ann and Orla for delivering dinner to the pitch for everyone to enjoy at lunch time - the children were very grateful and we are so fortunate to have such wonderful canteen staff.
Lastly a huge thanks to all parents who helped out today and supported the boys and girls - we are so lucky to have our whole school community involved on days like today.
