P.5/6/7 have been learning all about Europe this term as our world around us topic. This week we looked at popular food items in countries throughout Europe and traditions they have during mealtime. Today we enjoyed tasting some familiar and some unfamiliar treats. We tasted some ‘Stroopwafels’ from the Netherlands, Puff Pastries from Spain and some yummy shortbread from the U.K.
Everyone enjoyed tasting something different and having a guess to which country each item was from.
